Try an exoskeleton near you
Choose what you would like to try, find the nearest available EXO X operator and book a guided session.
Find the right trial for you
Exoskeletons can support different areas of the body, so the experience may vary significantly from one device to another. At selected EXO X locations, you can try the models available on site, learn how they work and experience their assistance during a guided session.
Hypershell
Walking assistance
Hypershell is a wearable powered exoskeleton designed to assist movement around the hips while walking and during outdoor activities.
During the trial, the operator helps you wear and adjust the device. In addition, the operator explains its basic functions and lets you experience different assistance levels in a controlled environment.
Available in: Cles (Trentino) · Perugia
DNSYS Z1
Knee-level assistance
DNSYS Z1 is a powered exoskeleton designed to provide assistance around the knee joints during movement.
Its motors work at knee level and the device can assist movements such as walking, standing up and moving on slopes or stairs. For example, you can experience how the assistance changes during different types of movement.
The EXO X trial lets you experience how the device behaves while you move, with the assistance of an operator and without making medical or therapeutic claims about the result.

Choose an EXO X location
EXO X is developing a network of local operators where you can book an exoskeleton trial without waiting for one of our travelling tour dates.
Each location offers the devices actually available on site. Therefore, the models you can try may vary from one EXO X location to another.
Would you like to become an EXO X operator?
We are building a network where customers can experience exoskeletons in person.
If you already work with exoskeletons and are interested in joining the EXO X network, tell us about your location and your experience.
Prefer to try it in your own environment?
If an EXO X location is too far away — or you simply prefer to test an exoskeleton in your own environment — you can use our rental service instead and have it delivered to an address of your choice.

What happens during the trial?
Your EXO X operator guides you through the entire experience.
The session normally includes:
- a short explanation of the device;
- help putting on and adjusting the exoskeleton;
- an initial low level of assistance;
- controlled walking to become familiar with the device;
- gradual adjustments when appropriate;
- time to ask questions and understand the differences between the available options.
The aim is to give you a practical understanding of how the exoskeleton works and how it feels when you use it.
For whom is the trial suitable?
Who can take part in an EXO X trial?
The trial is intended for people who want to experience an exoskeleton and understand its operation in a practical setting.
Participants must be able to stand and walk without requiring continuous physical support from the operator.
Safety always takes priority. Therefore, the operator may decide not to start, or to stop, the trial if pain, significant discomfort, instability or other unsafe conditions occur.
What the trial is not
An EXO X trial is a demonstration and practical experience.
It is not a medical, diagnostic, rehabilitation, physiotherapy or therapeutic service, and the EXO X operator does not make medical assessments, diagnoses or prescriptions.
