Rent a Hypershell X Pro, Hypershell X Ultra, or DNSYS Z1 Dual Joint exoskeleton for a minimum of 3 days and have it delivered to your home or to a convenient parcel pickup point near you.
Rental starts from €28 per day for the Hypershell X Pro; rates vary by model. Exo X arranges delivery and return shipping, so you can test the device in your own environment.
Who can try a Hypershell exoskeleton?
Hypershell is designed to support walking by assisting leg movement. However, it is not a medical treatment and it does not replace rehabilitation or clinical therapies.
Because every person’s mobility is different, some users find it helpful for daily activities or outdoor walks, while others decide it isn’t the right fit. Therefore, a short trial before considering a purchase is often the most practical approach.
A trial may be suitable if:
- You can stand and walk independently without hands-on assistance, even if walking is difficult or tiring.
- You experience fatigue, reduced endurance, or weakness in your legs while walking.
- You want to test whether powered walking assistance is useful in your own daily or outdoor environment.
A trial may not be suitable if:
- if you have a pacemaker implanted in your body
- You cannot stand independently.
- You need constant hands-on or medical supervision while walking.
- You are not personally interested or comfortable trying the device.
In our experience during Exo X tours, the best trials usually happen when the person who will wear the exoskeleton is curious and motivated to try it personally.

It may help, but there is no certain answer before trying it.
In our experience, several people with reduced mobility related to conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, or the consequences of a stroke have found Hypershell helpful when walking.
However, every person is different. The same condition can affect mobility in very different ways, so a diagnosis alone is not enough to know whether the exoskeleton will be useful or comfortable for you.
Hypershell assists leg movement while walking, but it is not a medical treatment and does not replace rehabilitation or clinical therapies.

Can I rent the exoskeleton for a family member?
Yes, but the person who will use the device should be personally interested in trying it.
From our experience during Exo X tours, the exoskeleton works best when the person wearing it is curious and motivated to test it themselves. When the trial is arranged by others, the device is often not fully accepted.

What happens if the device does not suit me?
That is exactly the reason why the rental service exists.
Trying the device allows you to understand whether it is useful for your situation before considering a purchase.
What is the Security Deposit?
A refundable guarantee to cover damage or missing items. The deposit is usually handled as a card hold (no immediate charge). However, depending on the card type or payment network, the deposit may be temporarily charged instead.
If everything is returned in good condition, the hold is released or the charged amount is refunded.
We manage deposits via Swikly, a trusted platform used by many businesses.
Do I have to arrange the return shipment?
No.
At the end of the rental period, place the device back in the case and close the package.
We arrange the return shipment. Depending on the agreed return option, a courier will collect the parcel from your address, or you can drop it off at a designated parcel drop-off point.
How heavy is the shipping package?
The Hypershell exoskeleton is shipped in a protective case.

Can my rental start on a Saturday, Sunday, or Monday?
Yes. In these cases, the exoskeleton may be delivered on the previous Friday, so that it is already at your address before the rental start date.
Does early delivery change the official rental period?
No. If the exoskeleton arrives earlier for logistical reasons, the official rental period remains the one confirmed in your booking. If you use the device beyond the agreed rental period, an additional payment may be required.
Could the device arrive before the official rental start date?
Yes. We aim to have the device delivered before the rental start date. Transport operations are not under our direct control, so delivery timing can vary. Please choose your rental dates with sufficient advance notice.
What time will the courier come to deliver the exoskeleton and pick it up?
The courier’s delivery and pickup times are not under our direct control. The courier may arrive during working hours, so we recommend choosing an address where someone can be present during the expected delivery or pickup window.
The courier may ring the doorbell and may contact you by phone, but a phone call cannot be guaranteed.
